The Atlas Master ACF 89' 4" Intermodal Flatcar is based on prototypes introduced in 1973 as railroads strived to keep up with intermodal piggyback trailer capacity. Many of these cars are still in service in 2019 although many have been modified to haul three package trailers. This model features accurate details, roadname and era-appropriate trailer hitch or container pedestal details, correct jacking pads, appropriate trucks with free-rolling metal wheelsets, fine paint, crisp lettering and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers. ACF 89' 4" Intermodal Flatcar are recommended for operation only on 24" or larger radius curves.
