This Bowser Executive Line HO Scale Alco C425 is based on the diesel which was a 2500 horsepower alternative to the C424 model. The C425 locomotives employed a different main generator to achieve the extra 100 horsepower. Produced between October 1964 and December 1966, 99 American and Canadian versions were built with several surviving in the 2020s as working diesels, excursion locomotives or museum pieces. This model includes lighting features and roadname-appropriate body features such as a low or high nose. Also included are factory-installed air hoses, windshield wipers, grab irons, coupler lift bars and window glazing. It's equipped with an operating headlight, can motor, dual flywheels, nickel silver wheels with RP25 flanges and knuckle couplers for smooth, reliable operation.
