The Bachmann Spectrum(R) Amtrak Acela II Train Set brings cutting-edge high-speed rail to HO Scale. The high-speed passenger train that revolutionized U.S. rail travel, has been updated with new Avelia train sets which push the envelope for speed and modernity in the Northeast. The Amtrak Acela II Train Set features two locomotives (one powered, one non-powered), ready-to-run with analog control (it's speaker-equipped for easy upgrading to sound and DCC when you're ready), a First Class passenger car, Cafe Car, and a Business Class passenger car. Also included is an 81 x 45" oval of snap-fit nickel silver E-Z Track(R) with concrete ties, power pack and speed controller, and illustrated instructions. Other features include directional LED headlights, ditch lights, number board and marker lights, an internal switch to allow operation from live catenary (available separately), lighted car interiors and interior details.
