This Bowser Executive Line Baldwin AS616 is based on diesels built between 195o and 1954 and used by a number of railroads. The AS616 was popular because of its extremely high tractive effort, far more than any comparable Alco or EMD product. Over 200 were built for railroad and industrial use. The Bowser Executive Line model features accurate, railroad-specific and era-specific body variations, applied details and a smooth-running drive with can motor, flywheels, nickel silver wheels with RP25 flanges and knuckle couplers.
