Barnhardt log loaders were widely used by logging railways from coast to coast. Since they could be transported anywhere along the railway, they provided the logging companies flexibility in loading schedules. This kit is designed for use with Keystone, Alexander and Micro-Engineering Works log buggies. It includes a cast body with interior and exterior wood planking, interior details with boiler and steam engine, corrugated metal roof and a brass chain for the drive mechanism. The kit also features a boom and cable.
