This detailed Atlas Master Silver Bombardier ALP-45DP dual-mode locomotive is based on prototypes that can operate as electrics in catenary-equipped territory or as diesel-electrics. The model features a non-operating, positionable pantograph details, applied handrails, airhorn and antenna details, and customer-applied wire grab irons and a drilling template are supplied in the package. The ALP-45DP is DCC ready. Other features include a five-pole skewed-armature motor with dual flywheels, directional prototypical LED headlights, ditch lights and marker lights and is equipped with AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
