Built for the Great Northern, these 48-Seat Day Night Coaches were delivered in 1947 for service for service on the "Empire Builder." When it was refitted in 1951, the cars were transferred to the new "Western Star."
These sides include the original full skirting with etched line details and grab iron holes. The center skirts may be removed to model the cars in their later appearance. The sides are designed to be used with the American Limited Models Core Kits, sold separately.
