Introduced on Santa Fe's El Capitan in 1956, these streamlined, hi-level cars were later acquired by Amtrak. These cars were used between conventional equipment and hi-level cars. Easy-to-build kits feature plastic bodies and are available undecorated (correct for ATSF or Amtrak schemes) or as ATSF cars, painted silver with black lettering. Models are also offered with blackened brass wheelsets as noted.
