The Rapido Trains Budd Skyline Mid-Train Dome is based on cars built for Canadian Pacific for its Canadian streamliner as well as other post-1955 streamliners. Skyline Domes are still used by VIA Rail Canada, and a handful of the cars are in private excursion service. Car interiors varied over the years; from delivery in 1955 the cars had coach seats in the lower level and operated long end forward; after 1983 some cars had a coffee shop installed downstairs and currently operate short end forward. The Rapido HO Scale models feature era-appropriate interior configurations.
