All the tools and supplies you need to get started are included, plus each kit in the series comes with illustrated, step-by-step instructions and online videos to take you from start to finish as you build a complete 12 x 24" (30.4 x 60.9cm) diorama.
 

What do I get in a Build-A-World Kit?

We'll get you started with hobby tools paint, glue, structures and accessories - enough to build all six kits in each series. All you'll need to supply is some primer spray paint, and a straightedge ruler.

How hard are Build-A-World kits?

They're not! You don't have to be an artist to get great results with Build-A-World. Made especially for beginners, each comes with a special instruction booklet that takes you through every step, and online videos are also available to demonstrate tips and techniques.
 

Do these kits take a lot of time to build?

Nope! You can work as fast or as slow as you want to. You'll get one complete kit each month for six months, plenty of time to finish one before you start the next.
 

Won't I need a lot of space?

No, Build-A-World kit is actually designed for anyone with limited space. You can do all the work on a kitchen table or desk. Your finished scene will fit easily on a bookcase or shelf where everyone can see and admire your work!

How many kits are there?

Three Build-A-World kits are available; the American Farmstead, exploring a rural farm scene, Main Street USA capturing a busy downtown, and our Northwoods Retreat complete with a fishing pond and forest cottage. Each consists of six individual kits, shipped around the beginning of the month.
