Product Information
Loco is equipped with an mfx digital decoder, extensive sound functions, 2 controlled high-efficiency propulsion systems with flywheels and traction tires. Features an articulated frame, directional lights, highly detailed metal construction and pantographs. The body comes in 3 parts with hoods that swing out separately.
Electrification of the Gotthard line was completed by December, 1920 and the Swiss Railways (SBB) came up with a brand new locomotive, called the Crocodile. Between 1919 and 1922 a total of 33 locomotives were delivered as Ce 6/8II 14251-14283 that were destined to dominate heavy freight service on the Gotthard.
Model is based on the Austrian Society for Railroad History loco from the first propduction series of the Swiss Crocodile. Features include a die cast metal frame and, mfx digital decoder, extensive sound functions, 2 controlled high-efficiency propulsion systems with flywheels featuring 1 motor per powered truck, 3 axles and jackshaft powered, traction tires and articulated frame. Lighting is warm white and red LEDs. Power can be switched to catenary.
