This Broadway Limited HO Scale Class T1a 2-8-4 Berkshire with Square Tender is based on the 10 T1a Berkshires Southern Pacific purchased from the Boston & Maine in 1945, and they became SP numbers 3500-3509. The Paragon4 Series models feature Paragon4 sound and DCC, user-adjustable smoke rate, and integral GoPack capacitor for smooth operation during small losses of electrical contact. This model has wheels profiled to operate on Code 70 and larger rail and curves of 18" radius, but larger curves are recommended. The Class T1a 2-8-4 Berkshire is part of the line of Broadway Limited HO Scale Paragon4 locomotives.
