This Atlas HO Scale Code 100 Snap-Switch Turnout features Code 100 nickel-silver rail with black molded-plastic ties and a plastic frog. The turnout comes equipped with an attached remote controlled, above-benchwork electric switch machine. The switch machine can be thrown with a Switch Control Box, 150-56 (sold separately). The 18" radius turnout also includes a 1/3 18" radius curve compensator track so for planning it equals one 18" curved section. The Snap-Switch turnout can also be thrown manually using the small sliding lever on the turnout. The track geometry of Code 100 track matches that of Code 83 Snap Track, so Code 100 track can be substituted for Code 83 in various Snap Track track plans when using adaptor track joiners (sold separately). Code 100 Snap Switch turnouts are part of the extensive line of Atlas HO Scale Code 100 track.
