The Rapido Trains HO Scale Royal Hudson 4-6-4 is an accurate model of the the most famous Canadian steam locomotive. Built between 1937 and 1940 as part of the second largest fleet of 4-6-4 Hudson type engines, the semi-streamlined locomotives comprised three classes (H1c, H1d and H1e) with all having big 75" drivers. Used in both passenger and freight service, they lasted in service until the end of steam in 1960.

The smooth-running, flywheel-equipped drive features a heavy die cast weight centered over the drivers for great pulling power, working headlight, marker lights and class lights; complete accurate piping and underbody, oil or coal tender as appropriate; and the model comes equipped with Macdonald-Cartier knuckle couplers compatible with all magnetic knuckle couplers.
