Delayed close couplers are specially designed so that the ends of locomotives and cars separate around curves so that the buffers align correctly. While running on straight track, the separation between coaches reduces itself realistically. Couplers conform to European Model Railway standards (NEM 362), and can be used with Roco and other equipment. Couplers are injected-molded plastic.
