The best of old and new meet in these ready-to-run models equipped with a DCC Decoder. The Alco FA-1 was introduced in 1946 to compete with EMD's F series. Identified by the square nose and rugged good looks, many of these first-generation freight units were in service until the 1960s. Models are ready for service on your layout, with all-wheel drive and electrical pick-up, a powerful motor and flywheel, body mounted couplers and a working headlight. Each comes with a factory installed decoder for use with the Command 2000 DCC system.
