The most powerful version of the Reichsbahn V 100, the 204 series, is used by Deutsche Bahn Cargo. The Deutsche Reichsbahns earlier 114 series is fitted with an 1,100 kW engine (1,500 HP). These reliable locomotives have proven their worth as freight locomotives. Units feature a diecast chassis, five-pole skew-wound motor, DCC decoder eight-pin socket, directional head and taillights and NEM couplers.
