EMD FT-A locos are based on diesels built in the late 30s and early 40s that brought diesels to U.S. railroads in large numbers. These models feature color schemes that match FT-B cabless booster units in the 160-60202 series. Each loco features eight-wheel drive and electrical pickup, working headlight and a factory-installed DCC decoder.
