This detailed Atlas Master Silver EMD SD50 diesel locomotive is based on the 16-cylinder, 3,500-horsepower road units introduced in the early 1980s. Within a few years they were succeeded by the extremely popular SD60. This scale replica comes equipped with a replaceable lighting board and built-in speaker to facilitate conversion to DCC and sound when you're ready. Other features of the EMD SD60 include a Scale Speed(TM) motor with dual flywheels, directional golden-white LED lighting, working ditch lights and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
