This detailed Atlas Master Silver EMD SD60M diesel locomotive is based on the 16-cylinder, 3,800-horsepower road units introduced in the 1980s. While the SD60 was built in large numbers, by 1989 the North American safety cab increased in popularity and the SD60M designation reflected this change. Several cab/nose variations were offered. This scale replica comes equipped with a replaceable lighting board and built-in speaker to facilitate conversion to DCC and sound when you're ready.
