This freelance design incorporates features from many similar vessels to capture the look of a typical prototype. When complete, it represents a wooden-hulled steam tug built for railroad carfloat service, but boats of this type were also the "jack of all trades," with small passenger and freight cabins behind the deckhouse. Designed for easy construction - no shipbuilding skills required - the waterline (flat bottom) model features a resin hull with plank and deck cast in place, numerous quality resin parts for the bulwarks and cabins, photo-etched brass railings and grating, plus a complete set of metal details and fittings.
