This Bowser Executive Line Baldwin AS16 is based on diesels built between 1951 and 1956. The AS16 was a 1,625-horsepower workhorse used in freight and passenger service. 127 units were purchased by seven railroads, five of which bought its predecessor DRS-4-4-1500. The Bowser Executive Line model features accurate, railroad-specific and era-specific body variations, applied details and a smooth-running drive with can motor, flywheels, nickel silver wheels with RP25 flanges and knuckle couplers. This Baldwin AS16 locomotive features an ESU LokSound V5 sound and DCC decoder and can operated on DCC and DC (with limited sound features) layouts.
