Introduced in 1953, the H-24-66 offered railroads a massive 2400 horsepower in a single road unit. Primarily a freight engine, some were equipped with steam generators for passenger work.
 
Models feature new ends to match prototype preference for headlights and number boards, plus golden-white LED directional lighting, painted handrails, blackened wheels, ScaleSpeed motor, metal grilles and factory-installed AccuMate knuckle couplers.
