This GATC Welded Tank Car is based on cars delivered by General American to the Santa Fe and other lines beginning in the early 1950s. Their primary service was hauling diesel fuel, gasoline and solvents. The cars survived in service into the 1980s and in work train service until the 1990s, so they'll look great in your early diesel-era freight consists.
