The new Trainworx Greenville 7000-Cubic Foot Wood Chip Hopper is based on prototypes that first hit the rails in the early 1970s. The huge cars are designed to haul wood chips used as feedstock for making paper mills. These unique cars have been owned by several railroads and many are still in service, so modelers of paper mills from the 1970s to the present love them. The cars feature detailed, injection-molded bodies with the unique embossed side body panels, appropriate trucks, metal wheels and magnetic knuckle couplers. The Greenville 7000-Cubic Foot Wood Chip Hopper is one of many Trainworx N Scale freight cars.
