Watch boxes were found at street crossings and railroad yards (as shelters from the elements for switchmen and brakemen) from 1887 onward. These very accurate models capture the known variations. Kits contain laser-cut plywood walls, trim, and windows, plus injection-molded smoke jacks and laser-cut tarpaper roofing material. Each kit contains enough parts to make three watch boxes; walls are interchangeable so you can model variations.
