The LokSound by ESU LokPilot Fx Nano is a function-only decoder for vehicles without a motor, such as unpowered locomotives or lighted passenger and cab cars where space is limited. It will control features such as interior lighting or directional headlights or marker lights. The LokPilot Fx Nano is a multi-protocol DCC or Motorola decoder and measures 5/16 x 9/32" 8 x 7mm. The decoder is supplied with a wire harness and an 8-pin plug as per NEM-652.
The LokPilot Fx Nano supports 14 - 128 speed steps and two and four-digit addressing. It supports all DCC programming modes and can be operated and programmed with all DCC compatible digital command stations. If using RailCom you can also read out CV values on the main with a suitable command station. Motorola users can use up to 28 speed steps and 255 addresses, and the decoder can detect Marklin brake sections. Programming using the Marklin Control Unit 6021 is also possible. The LokPilot Fx Nano is a dual-mode decoder and can be used on analogue DC layouts.
The LokPilot Fx Nano decoder has six function outputs supplying a maximum current of 150 mA each. All important lighting functions (e.g.: blinking lights mars light, flash) are available and can be adjusted just like the brightness for each individual output. Function mapping using the NMRA standard is available for F0 to F20. The decoder firmware can be updated when necessary using the LokProgrammer.
LokPilot Fx Nano is part of the line of ESU LokSound decoders.
