Union Pacific’s M-100000 streamliner hit the rails in February 1934, two months before the rival Pioneer Zephyr. The modern train toured the country and was seen by millions. Based on the original 1934 three-car train, this detailed model is DCC ready and features a full interior with lighting plus reversing headlights and tail lights. The set also includes a reproduction of the aluminum coin received by visitors on the original tour. After the tour, the M-10000 was placed in service and received a Pullman sleeper for overnight service. The Pullman car is available separately.
