Precision ground parallels are sized for miniature machine work. Includes five pairs of parallels 2.5" long by 1/16" thick in heights of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4". Usually used to raise a part a known distance while keeping it parallel to the table surface for machining. Handy in many other setups as well.
