The standard Allied field ambulance of World War II, the WC-54 saw service in all theatres of operation. An adaptation of the Dodge-built 3/4 Beep with an enclosed steel body by Wayne, each had a crew of two (driver and medic) and could carry four stretcher cases or up to eight walking wounded on folding benches. Some 23,000 were constructed from 1942 to 1946 and many remained in frontline U.S. service until the end of the Korean War. This resin kit features a hollow cab with basic cab interior.
