Developed in the 1980s to replace various heavy cargo trucks, the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) was a familiar sight during the Gulf War and remains in frontline service around the world today. A modular design, the units are built in five different versions including fuel tanker, wrecker, semi tractor and two styles of cargo trucks which can be equipped with material handling cranes. Designed for rapid response, the trucks can be operated in any climate where they may be needed.
