With the LokSound by ESU Mobile Control II Wireless Throttle with Access Point for ECoS System you have wireless control of your locomotives, accessories and routes The Mobile Control II is based on the Android operating system used by many smartphones. The ARM(R) Cortex(R) A8 microprocessor clocked with 1.3 GHz can access 512 MB RAM and controls the throttle's high resolution 3.2 inch TFT color display. There are 2 GB flash memory for storing apps and data. A capacitive touch screen assures touch-free data entry. For communicating with the outside world there is an USB port and a WLAN interface. Thanks to the standardized radio control interface, trouble free operation of your layout can be assured at any time. The range can be extended with WLAN repeaters, if necessary. The throttle has a permanent lithium polymer rechargeable battery and is easily recharged with a USB charger. Additional apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store at any time.

Train control is by a motorized throttle knob with end stop and direction change control. The display uses icons - just like your smartphone - for activating functions and two buttons on the side of the controller allow other functionality including direction change.
The Mobile Control II can control all locomotive addresses registered in the ECoS base (sold separately) and supports 14, 28 or 128 speed steps. The throttle displays all important locomotive properties such as name, symbol, function mapping as well as symbols for function buttons present on the base unit. It can access 28 functions for whether momentary or continuous. Its high resolution (480 x 800 pixels, 280 dpi), backlit TFT screen displays the most important operating parameters in real time including whether another operator controls a certain locomotive or if an emergency stop has been triggered.
The Mobile Control II uses the WLAN standard for communicating with the ECoS command station. Therefore you must connect the command station to a WLAN network via your wireless router. The ECoS and the Mobile Control II will find each other automatically. If you don't have an available wireless network choose the Mobile Control II 397-50113 because it includes a mini access point for the Mobile Control II to your ECoS.
Up to 16 Mobile Control II wireless throttles can be used with your ECoS system. All instructions are supplied in English and German languages.
