Based on a car designed by the United States Railroad Administration (USRA) during World War I, this steel caboose became a fixture on many northeastern railroads. Over 40 different lines owned cars of this type and some saw over 60 years of service. The model comes fully assembled and ready for service with authentic Bettendorf swing motion caboose trucks and Accumate(R) knuckle couplers.
