In the early 1870s after a lifetime of world renowned showmanship, P.T. Barnum created his first circus show. He quickly recruited friends and performers from his past to share in this new and exciting adventure that would become the |Greatest Show on Earth}. Traveling by rail helped to bring the ever-growing popular show to the masses around the country. This colorful train set includes a 4-4-0 steam locomotive, period-specific boxcar, 3 flatcars and a caboose.
