These switchers feature a five-pole skew-wound armature motor with low amp draw, eight-wheel drive, eight-wheel electrical pickup, M.U. packages (as appropriate), and detail parts like sunshades, windows and spark arrestors (as appropriate) that modelers can apply themselves as wanted. Models are DCC ready.
