The Atlas Master N Scale Pullman-Standard 2960 3-Bay Hopper is based on the fleet of open-top hoppers constructed beginning in the 1960s for several railroads. In the 1960s Pullman-Standard began offering a revised standard design for its coal hoppers based on the popular 1950s PS 2750. One of these was the 80-ton three bay coal hopper with a taller body than its predecessor and with a rated volume of 2,960 cubic feet. The cars were built from 1964 to 1971. This N Scale Pullman-Standard 2960 3-Bay Hopper model features crisp lettering, durable body, fine end ladder and end details and free rolling trucks. A group of Pullman-Standard 2960 3-Bay Hoppers would look right at home in 1960s and later consists serving a quarry or coal mine on your layout.
