Each of these semi-scale engines feature a diecast boiler, chassis and open slotted pilot; brass tubing and bell detail; operating headlight, marker lights and smoke box; illuminated firebox; engineer figure; cab detail; coupler lift chain; opening boiler front; brass smokestack and swinging bell; sintered steel wheels; open spoked drive wheels; blackened brass handrails; turned metal stanchions; motor with brass flywheel; worm gear drive; and interchangeable scale and O Scale diecast couplers.
 
Each tender features a diecast body; operating marker lights; rear directional light; diecast 6-wheel trucks, separate steps and ladder; and separate metal grab rails.
 
Both the engines and tenders feature a three position electric reversing unit and operate on O-31 track. They are available with Real Sounds full digital sound or with Digital Whistle. Together the units are 20 inches in length and weigh 7-1/2 pounds.
