Years ago, railroads relied on section gangs to inspect and repair track. Located about every 10 miles, each gang had a small storage shed for their tools as well as a handcar or later a motorized speeder.
 
This kit is typical of the small trackside sheds used all over North America. While it can be used in any flat space, it also includes parts to build a supporting trestle underneath for installation on a slope. The model features tab and slot construction, with laser-cut basswood, fiberboard and plastic parts, peel and stick window, trim parts and roofing. A complete set of printed signs and laser cut details are also included. Instructions provide photos and diagrams, along with tips for building the structure with a brand-new, or aged and weathered finish.
