Can produce over 22 sound effects, including: a short and long whistle (up to eight selections), bell, air pump, dynamo, snifter valve, injector, blower, side rod clank, brake squeal, brake release, exhaust chuff, coupler, steam release, cylinder cocks, Johnson bar, and safety (pop) valves. Also included are Fireman Fred sound effects, such as shoveling coal and filling the water tank. The exhaust chuff operates as a 2-cylinder, articulated or geared locomotive, or optionally uses a cam for the perfect chuff.
