This Bachmann USRA Light 2-8-2 Mikado with sound and DCC captures the burly looks of the prototype. The 2-8-2 was nicknamed the "Mikado" after Baldwin delivered the first engines with this wheel arrangement to Japan Railways in 1893. This sound and DCC sound-equipped model features the SoundTraxx(R) Sound Value sound package that includes prototypical chuff, short and long whistles, bell, air pump, steam release and blower - all in 16-bit polyphonic sound. This USRA Light 2-8-2 Mikado features great electrical pickup; directional headlight and E-Z Mate(R) Mark II knuckle couplers. It performs best on 18" or larger radius curves.
