Designed for use with all LocoNet-based systems, these dual-control throttles now feature an improved user interface for simpler operation and wireless remote control with your choice of infra-red or radio signals. With two sets of controls, you can easily run two separate trains, multiple-unit lash-ups or mid- and end-of-train helpers. Since each controller is an encoder rather than a traditional potentiometer, you'll have much finer speed control. Units now feature click encoders to simplify controlling speed, direction, emergency stop and loco recall, as well as a multi-line, backlit LCD display that puts all the information where you can see it. Units are battery powered and operate approximately 6-8 hours on fully charged NiCad batteries or 10-20 hours on alkaline batteries. Both also function as tethered throttles simply by plugging into LocoNet.
 
Safety address selection prevents two operators from selecting the same loco at the same time. Approximate signal range 300' circle, operates in 900Mhz band. Shorter plug and built-in antenna. Requires Infra-Red/Radio receiver UR91, sold separately.
