Built in the golden years when the railroad designed and engineered its own rolling stock, Milwaukee's rib side boxcar is easily one of the most prolific and recognizable signature cars of all time.
Painted in the 1963 repaint scheme, these models feature full-length rib profiles with hand-etched wood grain, panel-type camel doors, 5-5 dreadnaught ends, precision-detailed lumber door and razor-sharp painting and printing. They come equipped with factory-installed Kadee #58 couplers, 50-ton Barber S-2 friction-bearing trucks, CNC-machined metal wheelsets, wire coupler cut lever bars and separately applied air hoses.
