Pulpwood is an important source of fiber for making paper. These purpose-built cars feature a V-sloped deck and tall bulkheads at each end of the car keep the load in place. Constructed by SIECO (Southern Iron & Equipment Co.) beginning in the 1960s, these cars haul pulpwood between pulp landings in the woods and paper mills.
The models come fully assembled and ready for service with factory-installed grab irons, Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers, RP-25 metal wheels and authentic paint and lettering.
