On the Rocks
Back in the days before mechanical refrigeration, massive blocks of ice kept perishables cool as they traveled to market in ice bunker refrigerator cars. Poster @buffalolinemodeler added this classic scene to his layout that features an ice dock worker loading the bunkers of a string of waiting reefers. Click on the arrows to see another view.
