Land, Lots of Land
Bringing a small plot of layout land to life presents some neat challenges! This excellent packing house scene makes great use of the space on a module, built by Russ George and Russ Morrison for the Miami Valley Modular Railway.

Real-world inspiration
A prototype bridge over Coyote Creek in La Mirada, Calif., inspired this custom decorated Walthers Cornerstone model by poster @uprail_ho_sail. Click on the white arrows to see more views of the model and the real thing.

Growing Up
Like the prototypes, many of our factories have to fit a compact space, and the answer is to build up instead of out. Taller buildings can also double as a view block to make the layout seem much larger. This big electric arc furnace on the Milwaukee Operators Organization modular layout does both very nicely!

Modeling magic
