Trick or Treat?
Like it or not, graffiti is part of today’s railroading scene. Poster @customrailroader specializes in realistically recreating graffiti and weathering on a wide variety of modern-era freight cars.

A Colorful Collection
Ask most modelers to name their favorite engine and they'll reply, “All of them!” Terry Poole showcases just some of his modern motive power here, but we'll bet passing trains are just as colorful!

A Tale of Two Tanks
Bill Goodman concealed a layout access hatch with an oil storage tank scene. The silver piping is modeled with metal drawer pulls that also allow Bill to securely lift off the hatch.

Changing seasons
A wooden trestle turns even the smallest spot on a layout into a signature scene. By adding some orange and yellow foliage Mountain Goat Models created this idyllic autumn setting.

Stop for the train
Getting stuck at a grade crossing is a fortunate event for railfans, especially when a freight rolls by, such as this one on the layout built by @steelonthetrax. Grade crossing signals and other animation add another level of realism to a model railroad.
