![]() A Living Legacy
Many of us share our modeling with our families, both past and present! Rob Clending's dad surprised him with this water tower many years ago, scratchbuilt from a plastic Easter egg, a toilet paper tube, and fireplace matchsticks. Rob found the model in a box awhile back and restored his childhood treasure!

A lot years have come and gone since this old barn was built, but (hopefully!), it still has a few good years left. Justin Murphy shares this shot from his club.

![]() A Warm Glow
We love the mood captured in this image by @moderndti. You can almost feel the warm glow given off by the engine and surrounding lamps as everything winds down for the night along the branch line.

![]() Company Town
Ten images of a well-detailed, charming company town can be found in @cov_railroad’s post. Click through to his profile to see a number of other amazing photos of the layout in progress. |
Yard Work
Yards are some of the greatest places to watch and photograph trains - from a safe place of course. Chris Paciocco caught some of the colorful action on his freelanced N Scale Pere Marquette and Eastern, inspired by actual CSX operations in Michigan.
