Model railroading inspiration on 12-4-20

Good Friday morning model railroaders! Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving and some time to enjoy your trains. We've been railfanning across social media sites and have more great photos for you this week. Check them out at these links, and post some of your shots to share!

Still Going Strong
Many years have passed and the work hasn't gotten any easier, but this SD60M shows no signs of slowing down! Zak Montana shares this shot of his weathered WalthersMainline model leading a hot intermodal train.
Pole-Setting
Along the BNSF
Installing a unique piece of equipment is an easy way to create a mini-scene on a model railroad. A perfect example is this utility truck with its auger poised to drill a hole for a new utility pole as workers with pickaxes stand ready below. Thanks to @atlas_snap_track_shelf_layout for sharing the photo.
Fresh From
the Hobby Shop
There's something really neat seeing your newest loco in action for the first time! Making its debut on Matt Welke's Wisconsin & Southern layout, a WalthersMainline GP9 teams up with an Intermountain F unit to do some switching.
Trestles, trestles, and more trestles!
What’s more dramatic than a tall trestle towering over a deep canyon? How about three! A mountain backdrop adds the illusion of depth to this signature scene on an HO scale layout built by @modelrracademy.

We hope you enjoy these scenes and discussions as much as we enjoy bringing them to you! Check out our newest announcements in the recent New Product Express video.
