New month, new models! This week's New Product Express is ready to heat up your summer with new HO Gunderson 40' Rebuilt Well Cars from WalthersProto® in five TTX schemes!
With the shift from 48' to 53' containers, Gunderson found themselves with a sizeable fleet of nearly new but now obsolete well cars. Borrowing a page from model railroaders, the prototypes were kitbashed by removing eight feet from the well and welding the pieces back together! Highly detailed and fully assembled, our models feature a die cast metal body - complete down to the prototype's weld lines - for great performance loaded or empty, etched-metal walkways, installed grab irons and more, topped off with superb paint and lettering.
