Bigger has always been better when it comes to prototype cars, and the 4780s were no exception. Plying the rails since the 1970s, these large-capacity cars have been hauling all kinds of grains from producers toprocessors ever since. In recent years, they're frequent arrivals at ethanol plants where they load dried distiller's grain (DDG) used to make animal feed.
